Rare Pictures of Dino Conner

For a long time fans of Dino have desired more material that includes him, whether it’s pictures, audio or video. Apparently on the private Instagram page, ran by one of Shazam’s minions, there were quite a few rare pictures of H-Town with Dino. It’s clear from the number of pictures this account has, someone close to them has to be providing them with the photos. It’s very bizarre that even when it comes to pictures, they are very secretive about that as well. But I managed to get a lot of the pictures, which his fans should be able to see freely. So, enjoy!

*I know that some of these pictures have been seen by his fans before but I decided to include them for those who hadn’t.

Debunking the myth about Dino and Shazam Conner being twins

You read that right. Dino and Shazam Conner from the R&B group H-Town are not twins. Why does this matter? Well since finding out about Shazam’s true nature and the numerous fabrications that have been told, I felt it needed known, especially since Shazam does everything he can to steal the attention from Dino, even in death. Also, there seems to be absolutely no one speaking in defense of Dino. Did I know him personally? No. However, as a fan of his, seeing the actions of this older brother (and the people around him who continue to go along with this lie) I felt it was important to shine light on the truth.

Like most H-Town fans, I grew up believing that Dino and Shazam were twins. I thought to myself, they must be fraternal twins because it’s clear they’re not identical. After I started listening to more of H-Town’s music when I grew up, I became online friends with many other H-Town fans. I befriended one guy who shocked me by saying, “Did you know Dino and Shazam aren’t twins?” He then explained to me how he found out. But I’m the type of person who needs to see the proof for myself, so at the time I just kept what he said in the back of my mind. I also remember that around this time, Shazam had a Q&A with his fans, and since this was before all the bullshit happened, I asked him several questions. While I don’t remember everything I asked him, I do remember asking who was the older twin, him or Dino; that was the only question I asked him that got no response. I didn’t think anything of it at the time.

But then after Shazam’s online attack against me in 2016, several people reached out to me, including people who were close to him and Dino. One person in particular (whose identity I won’t reveal) told me of his relationship with H-Town and provided me with proof. He expressed his disappointment over Shazam and his family’s actions, then suddenly he said, “Oh and Dino and Shazam aren’t twins. It was just a gimmick for that time.” It was at the moment, I knew it had to be true. Here’s someone who reached out to me and told me information I didn’t even ask about. I then started noticing things that made it all add up. I started doing my own research. I then came across several of Shazam’s mugshots on official county websites in Texas, and there in black and white was his actual birthday: December 17, 1973. When someone gets arrested they have to give their ID to the officer. Unless he had a fake ID with him on multiple occasions (which is a crime itself) then that date is correct and is what is listed on his state ID. Then people in the H-Town group I had on Facebook started doing their own research and coming across information. Someone sent me what looked like a Texas state birth record document which clearly showed Dino and Shazam’s birth dates; Dino Conner (born Delando Conner, November 18, 1974) and Shazam Conner (born Solomon Conner, December 17, 1973). That is a state document which I was able to later verify.

It can clearly be seen that Dino and Shazam aren’t twins. But for some strange reason, the people around Shazam continue to play along with his delusion that he’s Dino twin. It’s disturbing. They continue to celebrate Dino and Shazam’s birthday every year with a big party on November 18. And while we may laugh at Shazam’s shenanigans, this actually speaks to Shazam’s mental state, which clearly is not in a good place. To be almost 50 years old and still walking around in a fantasy about being your younger brother’s twin is sad. But his followers continue to buy the life. I posted the above information plus mugshot information on Shazam in a video about this topic and not surprisingly, his followers attacked me online because of it. They still think the evidence I showed is a lie. I’ve just come to realize over the years that there are some people who will choose to continue to believe a lie even with the truth staring them in the face. That’s their choice. It’s stupid, but still their choice.

And back to the people coddling Shazam and his delusions; what’s their issue? Again, why are they afraid to check him on his bullshit or put him in his place? Maybe even help him get the professional help he clearly needs. He also makes it a point to try too hard to prove to himself and to his delusional/obsessive fan base that him and Dino are twins.

That’s pretty much all I have to say about this topic. Between the video I made about it and this post, there isn’t much left to say. No matter how much proof there is debunking his twin story, I’m pretty sure he’s gonna try to run with it for the rest of his life.

The story of me being cyberbullied and harassed by Shazam Conner (H-Town) and his “fans”

It all started in the summer of 2016. It seemed innocent enough that I asked about the status of Dino’s unreleased music that Shazam had promised to release. Fans of R&B group H-Town found out that the late lead singer of the group, Dino Conner, had an unreleased solo album. This information was revealed on their episode of Unsung on TV One (an episode I fought for 2 years to get for them, only to regret it later). Shortly after this reveal on Unsung, Shazam made a new page on Facebook called Dino Conner and Shazam Conner, where he claimed he was going to release new music from himself as well as Dino’s unreleased material. Months went by and the only thing that was released was Shazam’s own solo music and re-releases on H-Town’s music, this time labeled as Dino Conner & Shazam Conner’s Greatest Hits.

After the release of the above album, along with the silence about Dino’s music, I knew something was up. And what’s crazy is that fans of them seemed excited over the release of this album which featured songs from their previous albums. Also, months earlier and shortly after Unsung, The Best of H-Town album was released, which featured many of the same songs.

I felt that Shazam was using this newfound attention to promote only himself while leaving fans eager to hear Dino’s unheard music, hanging. I decided at this point to make a video for my YouTube channel addressing these concerns (my YouTube channel at that point had become a tribute to Dino).

I don’t believe I said anything out of line in the video. I simply asked where was Dino’s music which the fans had been promised. I wasn’t rude, disrespectful or even demanding. I asked real questions about the situation. something that many people weren’t willing to do at the time. Most people took what Shazam said at face value; I looked beyond that because I could already see what was really going on. At this time, I also had a Facebook group dedicated to H-Town, which Shazam and Gi were a part of. Shortly after I posted that video on YouTube and in my group (I never personally sent it to Shazam), I got a very disrespectful response from Shazam in my group and on his personal Facebook page. I made a video where I let their fans know what was said. While he didn’t call any names, everyone knew who he was referring to.

Little did I know what making this video and exposing his disrespect to a wider audience would cause. Later in the evening on the day I released the above video, I noticed that Shazam began adding a lot of females to my Facebook group. I would later find out these were some of his cousins and sister. They came in the group making remarks about me without saying my name and just did a lot of childish stuff in general. As I started removing them from the group, people in the group saw what was happening and started confronting those that were in the group who were making snarky remarks and being rude. As this was happening, Gi inboxed me and began to tell say, “You know Shazam is crazy.” He said a few other things, not trying to be part of the drama but instead was just telling me the kind of person Shazam really is. (Gi was not aware of the re-release of H-Town’s music with just Shazam and Dino’s name until after it was released, among other things). Then out of nowhere, Dino and Shazam’s sister, Crystal Conner, called me on Facebook. Yeah that heifer had the nerve to call me in an attempt to cuss me out. Keep in mind that before all of the drama, I had made a couple Dino tribute videos and the petition to get H-Town’s Unsung episode made, sent them to her, and never got one thank you. Now she was calling me, and “going off” about stop talking about her brother and leave her family out of my name. The fuck?! I could barely get a word in before she hung up and quickly blocked me. Coward. She didn’t wanna hear what I had to say because there would be too much truth in what I said. The part I did manage to mention about me helping to get their Unsung episode made, caused her to briefly pause. Besides, her older brother began attacking me online, all because I asked about the status of Dino’s unreleased music, which he claimed he was going to release. I then made a video in response to this.

Shazam and his family were NOT going to disrespect me without me responding to this publicly. Although they are not as famous as they use to be, they are still somewhat public figures and this kind of disrespect of someone who was a fan, was not called for, especially since I didn’t disrespect them. After I made my video, I received a lot of support and even heard from many people who knew Dino, Shazam and Gi personally. They shared stories with me. Many weren’t surprised by Shazam’s actions. They told me the kind of man Dino was and how he wouldn’t approve of his brother disrespecting me. Some even mentioned they weren’t twins! I appreciate those who did reach out and offer support and share stories with me. Although I was not dependent on online support, it was and still is greatly appreciated.

Now of course there were people who wanted me to remain silent. There were people who thought I shouldn’t have said anything about Dino’s music. Some of them I like to refer to as the “Shazam ass-kissers.” The others I felt were being cowards. How could you want me to remain silent in the face of this guy publicly disrespecting me? Around this time is when I began to talk to Gi less (I had been in semi-regular contact with him online for years). I can understand someone not wanting to be part of drama, hell I didn’t wanna be part of drama, but Gi was concerned about this affecting their ability to make money. What makes it worse is that he knows the type of person Shazam is but instead of standing up to him, he just sits back and takes whatever from him for the sake of a check. Well I’m not that kind of person and it’s not my job to make sure their money isn’t affected!

Things began to calm down after a while and I decided to just try to honor Dino in ways I could think of. A few months after all of that unnecessary drama, Shazam suddenly announced he was releasing an EP of Dino’s music, which included 3 previously unreleased songs (Pune Juice had been released in late 2015). “You’re My Morning Star”, “Hot Jeans”, and “Love Hurts Bad” were released on December 1, 2016. I was glad to have new material from Dino; music that should’ve been released without all the bullshit caused by Shazam. In the midst of it all, there were still people asking questions about Dino’s full album, there were excuses from Shazam, even a Gofundme account he set up to cover “the charges for mixing the album and other costs associated with it.” What’s odd about that is the fact that on Unsung it was said that Dino’s solo album was completed and it wasn’t picked up by a label because Dino had been blackballed by the industry after he “allegedly hung up on an industry executive and breached their contract.” In reality, it was just a cash grab for Shazam. Not surprisingly, he did not reach his goal, which was over $100,000. He later deleted it. It would later come out that Shazam owes more than $100,000 in back child support so the real motive for that Gofundme is now fully known.

Things remained pretty quiet for the next year in terms of the online attacks from Shazam; then the summer of 2017 happened. Out of nowhere, multiple videos on my YouTube channel were getting flagged. I addressed this in another video.

So Shazam ended up leaving my videos alone after I made this video. Then 2018 happened. That is when he crossed a line that shouldn’t have ever been touched. Prior to the summer of 2018, I had still been minding my business and posting whatever footage or audio I came across that featured Dino. Then seemingly out of nowhere, my channel got attacked again. This time my entire YouTube channel was almost taken down due to my videos being flagged. I had posted H-Town’s Unsung episode on my channel since several people asked did I have it. I wasn’t completely surprised by the idea of an entire episode of a show I don’t own getting taken down, but what was odd about the Unsung episode being removed and flagged was that it wasn’t from TV One or the production company, A. Smith & Co.; someone had made a Gmail account and put TV One’s name at the beginning of it. Shortly after this, Shazam uploaded the entire episode on his Facebook page. Coincidence? I think not. My channel also got flagged for other random reasons from another random email address.

After being unable to upload videos on my channel for a few weeks, I then informed the followers of my page that Shazam had been encouraging people to harass me. While he didn’t say my name, everyone knew who he was talking about. Some of his followers found me on my other social media accounts that were unrelated to Dino. They also began to harass the people following me.

Once I was notified of Shazam uploading a video where he very clearly told people to harass me, I quickly downloaded it to keep as proof. Again, he didn’t say my name, but like I said, everyone knew who he was referring to. And just like he told them, I began to get harassed online.

That’s right, a grown “man”, got online to tell his “fans”, mostly a mix of young to middle age women and some underage girls, to harass another woman, simply for showing to his late brother Dino love and for calling Shazam out on his bullshit. But this was on another level. This could potentially be dangerous. The harassment began to intensify after he made that video. Suddenly I was receiving numerous harassing messages from his followers on my personal Facebook page and my Instagram page. Then there was this one chick named Nicole, who escalated it even further. She had initially been in another Facebook group I made in honor of Dino. I didn’t know just how mentally unstable she was. But this is also why you don’t encourage harassment, online or in person. There are some crazy people out there and she is one of them. She’s what I will call an obsessed fan. She has talked of being in a relationship with Dino, who has been deceased for almost 17 years. She began to stalk my husband as well. She pulled virtually every picture from our Facebook pages before we deleted them. She posted these pictures to multiple fake accounts, sent the content to me, as well as to those who followed me on Instagram. She somehow got the names of deceased relatives from me and my husband’s families. She tried relentlessly to taunt us. But she followed what Shazam said and she harassed the hell out of us. She even began sending messages to people stating she was coming to my city, among other things.

Promoters for H-Town shows were contacted to let them know what Shazam had told his fans to do. Many of them laughed. One even gave Shazam my phone number, and he called and played on my phone. No one took it seriously. It was like a joke to them. People who were close to Shazam and Dino told me to just stay quiet about it and to just let Shazam self-destruct. Yes, this was the response of some to Shazam telling people to harass me and it actually happening. Most of these people know Shazam and his mental state but they coddle him. They know of his narcissistic ways and how he will do whatever to make himself look like the victim. They know he told people to harass me. They know the jealousy and resentment he has for Dino, yet no one is willing to put him in his place or tell him to seek help. What are they afraid of? What do they know? It’s very bizarre yet not surprising at all. Yes, one day Shazam will self-destruct, people like him generally do.

After dealing with intense harassment for almost a full year, things seemed to quiet down again for a bit. But just as it’s been for the past several summers, bullshit came knocking again this summer. Just a few days ago, I decided to make a Team Dino Conner Instagram page. I made the page and within a few hours someone tried to hack it. Within 3 days, Instagram took it down claiming it violated their Terms & Conditions. I made another account and less than 12 hours after making that one, that page was taken down for the same reason. And it appears that Nicole (or another deranged Shazam fan) has resurfaced. Multiple fake accounts warned me to take the account down; they began posting about my husband again too. The person started messaging people about me again.

What is the real issue here? Outside of Shazam telling his gullible and mentally unstable fans to harass me? Why is there such an issue with me honoring Dino? Why so much hatred towards one of the only people genuinely trying to keep Dino’s musical legacy alive? There’s even a girl who runs an Instagram page (htown4ever) that interrogates people about if they know me or follow my channel. Just crazy.

Well I’m going to bring this blog post to a close. But I’m hoping that this website will not be able to be attacked the way other platforms have been. Will there be an attempt made to attack it? Probably. Will the harassment of me stop? Oh yeah, it’s gonna stop. Cyberbullying and harassment is a crime. Shazam and his followers will get a wake up call and will one day be asking themselves was all of the mess they’ve done really worth it.

So we’re near the end of 2019 and it’s still happening. This popped up on H-Town’s Wikipedia a couple of weeks ago. Thankfully someone let me know about it since I hadn’t checked their page in a while.

That post seemed to come out of nowhere. Yes, I believe Shazam was behind it. He not only created a section on Wikipedia to lie on me, but he put my full name on there! He had no right to do that! As we’ve already seen, his followers are crazy and there are just too many crazy people in the world period. Now if I chose to put my full name on something public, I have a right to do that. But he doesn’t have that right. I have since edited the lie that was put up and replaced it with the truth.

Not surprisingly, when I addressed this there were people who had an issue with me speaking out against this. I have every right to do so and will continue to speak out if he keeps harassing me. I’ve just been minding my business, recovering from 2 surgeries, not thinking about Shazam. But anything he does something, some people always find a way to try to blame me. It’s absurd but not at all shocking.

December 2019 and Shazam is still at it. This past Friday he filed another false claim against one of my video. The video in question is a “Knockin’ da Boots” cover done by a fan back in 2016. I uploaded the video on my channel then and never had an issue with it being up. It was never flagged for any reason. Then Shazam decided to falsely flag the video for his song “Upside Down Lovin.” This is the third of fourth time since 2017 that he’s flagged my videos for his solo songs, which he knows are not in any of my video. I appealed, he denied the appeal, I appealed his denial and he dropped the claim. He didn’t have a valid claim in the first place.

After the false claim was filed on my video, Shazam decided to go to Wikipedia and remove the entire “Dispute” section he had originally added after I updated it with the truth. I added the section back. Within 5 minutes he removed it. It soon became clear that he was watching the page very closely because I added the truth about him a couple more times, and each time it was gone within minutes.

Well it’s 2020 and so far we’ve seen a global pandemic, uprisings over police continuing to kill unarmed black people without consequences, wildfires, earthquakes, swarms of locusts and so much more! But what do you think Shazam Conner is doing? Still harassing me! Four years after it first started, he’s still at it simply because I still choose to honor Dino and try to keep his legacy alive without including Shazam. He has sent multiple people to “infiltrate” a group I have where we discuss Dino. Several people popped up claiming to have information about Dino after we had certain discussions in this group. NUMEROUS fake accounts keep appearing harassing me and now they are even targeting more people who follow me in an attempt to scare people from following my accounts. I am thoroughly convinced that Shazam is psychotic. No normal person would do this. His jealousy issues (and whatever else he’s hiding concerning Dino) have absolutely nothing to do with me or the people who follow my accounts! What’s worse is that I believe Shazam gets off on this mess. Every time I do a live-stream, I know he’s watching (this fool subscribed to my YouTube channel and YouTube’s blocking doesn’t really work). At times I think he tries to start something just so I’ll go live and talk about it. He’s an attention whore, so no matter what kind of attention it is, he likes it. This is why it’s dangerous to let mental illness go untreated and it’s terrible that the people around him have sucked up to his behavior for as long as they have. What are they gaining from doing that? This man is almost 50 years old and is harassing women online (and a couple guys) and is using a lot of his young gullible female fans to help him do his dirty work.

Well it’s October 2020 and the world is still dealing with the global COVID pandemic and what do you think Shazam is doing while fronting online about a new EP? He’s still harassing me! A few weeks ago Shazam did a livestream on Facebook where somebody apparently went in on him in the comments about his harassment of women and his other outrageous behavior. I was very glad to see that as it seems like more people are discovering the truth about him. However the following day, Shazam created a fake account using this person’s name and same profile picture and trolled me on my Instagram account. I guess he thought the person calling him out was me but if you know me, when I call him out, I have no problem letting it be known that it’s me. To make this even more sick and twisted, after I blocked this account, Shazam changed the account name to my mom’s name, who is deceased.

A few days ago, Shazam once again filed multiple false claims against my YouTube channel which resulted in my channel, EmpressDivine04, being suspended. He did this before back in 2017 but I was able to save my channel, which I’ve had since 2006. At the time of me writing this, I am currently appealing the suspension.
